Mail Tag is a fun little game that involves mailing letters, drawings, special goodies, etc. to your friends and having them send you such in return. Pretty much like pen pals with a little twist.
THE PURPOSE OF THE TAG-YOU'RE IT ACCOUNTThis account is because our little gang has been playing "Mail Tag" for a while and have some really fun and amusing doodles we wish to share. However, we weren't sure who's account to put it on. So, we decided to create an account to host all these wonderful little scribbles.
HOW TO PLAY MAIL TAG: WARNING: Mail tag is only to be played with friends who are far away and people that you trust. If they're not real life friends, make sure they're people you'd trust giving your address to.
The game play is simple. It goes as follows:
Whoever receives a letter in the mail is "it" and must send a letter back and then the original sender becomes "it."
Simple as that. However there are some minor rules involved:
A letter or a note should be included. While getting a drawing in the mail is always fun, a little message from your friend is even better. It isn't NECESSARY to play the game...but it's a great addition to it.
A drawing must be included. Hint: It's probably best if the drawing isn't very extensive. Pencil drawings will do just fine.
When you receive a drawing, whatever theme is in that drawing it must be continued in the drawing YOU create and send. Example: If I receive a drawing that has a character dancing in a fancy dress at a nightclub, the drawing I return needs to have something to do with the fancy dress, a nightclub, or dancing. It could be ANYTHING as long as it continues a original theme from the drawing you received. If you're the person SENDING the mail tag for the first time...draw what you want! But make sure there's SOMETHING your friend can use to draw from.
Any goodies or gifts are completely OPTIONAL. Do NOT feel required to send little (or big) presents.
All there is to it really!
